There are five MarkAssure® “Alert Levels,” from Red to Green, with Green being the least alerting Low Alert, and Red being a Severe Critical Alert. (You might have noticed that the colors are matched to Homeland Security alert coloration for your ease of reference.) All results on a MarkAssure® report are critical review. The Alert Levels are for your convenience, but remember to review all results.
The Alert Levels are AI-driven by our internal proprietary technologies developed in our “tech rooms” and the field over the course of many years of fine-tuning. The Alert Levels save you time because you get our summary decision for you, understanding that you may want brevity for the moment.
Red Severe Critical Alert:
These are serious results for review, exact or very close brand names. One exception to this is when the MarkAssure® system finds a filing that was made by you, which is usually an exact match. And, indeed, you want MarkAssure® to find your own mark filings. Other than that exception, you may want to contact your Assurance Partner immediately.
Orange High Alert:
MarkAssure® AI considers these results to be important for your immediate attention and review.
Yellow Elevated Alert:
MarkAssure® AI believes that these are results may be important to you. You may want to give some additional urgency to these results.
Blue Guarded Alert:
These are results to review that might be an problem, but the proximity of the brand closeness does not cause MarkAssure® to rank it for a higher alert. The MarkAssure® AI determination is that the reference is “notable,” but not necessarily concerning.
Green Low Alert:
These are results of which to take notice, but MarkAssure® does not believe that the marks demonstrate a high probability of a problem. This does not mean that you should disregard the results. It is critical for you to review all results.
